Pre-Ride Warmup and Jitters

The 2014 Israel Ride is officially underway with registration and shake down ride through the Jerusalem Forest and orientation.  It has been wonderful to see old friends from rides past, to begin making new friends, and to greet my fellow riders of the Lexington Minutemenschen.

There is tension, excitement, and electricity in the air.  Even though I have been through this before, the anticipation, excitement, and some of the warnings about climbs, descents, and riding in large groups always gives me a little bit of the jitters.  But we are primed and prepped, and ready to go.  Early to bed tonight.  We ride at daylight!
